J. Whitman's career in the entertainment industry spans over 11 years in his native home of Los Angeles, California, where he has worked both on-stage and backstage. From 1999-2001, he was the assistant stage manager and a performer in several musical productions at the Canyon Club Dinner Theater. From 2004-2006, he pursued the study of technical stage production at Los Angeles Pierce College, where he worked as the stage manager for 2 productions, and performed in 2 musicals & a children's production. 

In 2007, he decided to combine his love of music, stage production, and philosophy into a personal artistic vision. Since 2007, he has fine-tuned his style to include elements of orchestral, industrial rock, and trance electronica sounds. This combination was released to the public November 18th, 2008 as The Human Condition, his first EP album, followed by his first full-length album release, Revolution Rising, on September 22nd, 2009. On December 28th, 2008, he made his live performance debut as a solo act at the +Good Hurt Nightclub+.

Today, J. balances his career in technical theater with his independent music project.
